The Manhood Wildlife & Heritage Group (MWHG) are currently delivering an innovative and exciting Heritage Lottery Funded community project called 'Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands' (FLOW). The project will map, survey and restore or manage the Manhood peninsula's watercourses for the benefit of wildlife and people. We are actively seeking new volunteers and members from the local communities across the Manhood Peninsula to ensure that the project is a resounding success.
The MWHG is a friendly local conservation charity which is led by volunteers. Members have weekly opportunities to take part in practical conservation, habitat surveys, monitoring wildlife, with free training. You do not need any experience of conservation to volunteer with us and there are no entry fees or subscriptions when joining. Get in touch or visit our website to find out more...
